About the Author
Josie Santomauro is a full-time writer living in Brisbane, Australia. Her son, Damian, was diagnosed with Asperger Syndrome at the age of five. Josie has written many books on autism, as well as numerous fiction books for children and young adults under the name Josie Montano. In 2009 was awarded the Parent/Carer Award in recognition of outstanding achievement by Autism Queensland, Australia.

This book is a great inspiration.
I love the various stories.
Our son is hesitant to read much about his autism, but this book he will read.
I think this is intended to be a "pep talk" for young people like our son. For that reason alone, the book is worth purchasing.

These folks are indeed all stars in their worlds. I believe my son might be more high functioning so might have different expectations so before buying, consider the expectations for the autstic in your life. Where are they on the spectrum. I think disclosure would have been helpful.
