About the Author
Diane Kelly is a former CPA and tax attorney, who had several brushes with white-collar criminals during her career. When she realized her experiences made excellent fodder for novels, her fingers hit the keyboard and thus began her Special Agent Tara Holloway romantic mystery series. A recipient of the 2009 Romance Writers of America Golden Heart Award for Best Novel with Strong Romantic Elements, she has received more than two dozen RWA chapter awards. Love this series!

Death, Taxes, and Green Tea Ice Cream is such an enjoyable read! I absolutely love this series. It is one of my favorites. Tara Holloway is a very likable character. She's smart, strong, gutsy, and handles adversity head-on. Much to her dismay, she's also a trouble-magnet. She gets into some wacky situations, and it is always fun to see how she gets out of them.
As our story opens, we find Tara, former IRS Criminal Investigator, feeling very sorry for herself--and who can blame her. She's facing a ten-million-dollar civil lawsuit, criminal charges have been filed against her, and she's been fired from a job she loves. With the support of her family, friends, and Special Agent Nick Pratt, her boyfriend, our protagonist keeps her head up, her spine straight, and tries to move on with her life. While looking for a new job, she quietly helps Nick investigate two important cases, cases that had been assigned to her before she was fired.
Death, Taxes, and Green Tea Ice Cream is a well-written story that kept my attention all the way to the end. This book can act as a stand-alone. However, if you've never tried this series, do yourself a favor and buy the first one (Death, Taxes, and a French Manicure), sit back, read and enjoy. I strongly recommend this series and can't wait for the next book. Happy reading!

Fired and now charged with a crime, Tess is in trouble.

Tara Holloway lost her job as an IRS Special Agent and was now looking for a job. She was wondering who was assigned to her two big international cases when her boyfriend Nick admitted that they had been given to him. Lucky, because Tara was going to go to Japan and India to be a consultant in an unofficial capacity.
Attempting to find a job had been difficult because of the shooting she had been involved with and the reasoning behind the loss of her job. She received a call from the Department of Justice blatantly hinting that she was being charged with using excessive force to apprehend a suspect. Then she was served and was being sued with the same charges. So much for her trip to Japan.
Death, Taxes and Green Tea Ice Cream is pure Diane Kelly in this 4 1/2 star read-- witty, remarkable, and ever so entertaining.

And You Think You Had A Bad Day

Tara Holloway is having a really difficult time. She is fired from her job as an IRS Special Agent. The DA is filing charges against her for excessive force. The only thing going for her is her love life. Nick is there for her but what will happen if she goes to jail. This is not the way to spend the Christmas Holiday! Tara is not going to give in. She's no damsel in distress. Diane Kelly has written a story that is filled with non-stop action and adventure. I love Tara's romance with Nick. They are true partners who respect each other. The dialog is smart and snappy and Tara's audits are the stuff of legends. I couldn't put this book down. You'll enjoy Death, Taxes and Green Tea Ice Cream.
