About the Author
Sarah Gustavus Jones is consultant child and adolescent psychotherapist at Great Ormond Street Hospital, London and visiting lecturer and seminar leader at the Tavistock Clinic. She has a background in counselling adolescents in school and is currently researching focused short-term counselling for under fives with their parents. She is the mother of two young children.

I found this book to be informative and insightful. It really helps you appreciate the developing personality of your little one and gives you some understanding as to what may account for changes in their temperament during this stage. I would gladly recommend this book to others.

I am now on my third child in 30 years with these books. This is a grandchild, one, two, three. They are insightful guides to what is going on in your childs head at whatever age. Helps you understand behavior is often normal. Covers many of the issues you have over each year of your child's life. Easy to read.
