Un libro excepcional para lectores muy especiales...! /An oustanding book for a very particular reader...!

En mi opinión, para apreciar plenamente este libro es necesario que el lector tenga un mínimo de elementos en común con el protagonista de la historia, que muy probablemente es el alter-ego del autor del texto. Es un libro para amantes de la literatura, de los juegos verbales, y para aquellos que pueden gozar con los recuerdos excéntricos y las ideas un tanto extravagantes, cínicas y cómicas del protagonista. Ahora, si el lector gusta de la naturaleza humana Tristan Shandiana, esta es una verdadera obra maestra plena de placer...!
In my opinion, in order to fully appreciate and enjoy this book, you have to share a number of elements in common with the main character of this book (and probably an alter ego of its author). You have to love literature, and be receptive for the eccentric recollections and somewhat outlandish and a bit cynical and humorous opinions of the protagonist. However, if you are a true Tristram Shadish person, you will find that this book is an enjoyable masterpiece, unique in its genre
