About the Author
Steven T. Hawkins is the Founder and Director of Dramatic Problem Solving, which works with communities and groups to help them transform their conflict. He has a PhD in Conflict Analysis and Resolution and a MSEd in Special Education and has worked with a diverse range of client groups and settings worldwide. These include an urban squatters community in San Jose, Costa Rica, clowning and theatre at SOS villages in Nicaragua, workshops with Colombian refugee youth in Ecuador, change artists at Gesundheit Institute in West Virginia, USA, and tribal and urban groups in Tamil Nadu, India. He currently lives in Tamil Nadu, India.

With all the violence in the world today, conflict resolution is something that is necessary to teach to our children since the school isn't able to. Just like money management, organization and good communication skills fall on the parents in this busy lifestyle, no money for schools society we live in.
