A gold mine of information for all caregivers of asthmatic children

I am a R.N. and have 3 grandsons with severe asthma (7, 7, & 8), all of whom have been hospitalized with it at various times. I was looking for a book with some (meat) to it that would be appropriate for their ages. Not only did they learn more about their asthma, I discovered that this book was actually a gold mine of information for just about everyone. I have now ordered 5 copies of it. I donated several of them to the School Nurses of their schools. I have also made a written request that I would like each of their teachers to read this book when my grandchildren are assigned to their classes. This should be required reading for ALL caregivers of asthmatic children!

Easily understandable,yet detailed book about asthma

As a Registered Nurse,I found this book to be both informative for children as well as adults.I purchased this book to help my other children better understand their brother's asthma condition.In the process of reading the book,there was valuable information that I learned as well.It explains things in an understandable no nonsense way.This book is very well written,a must read for anyone w asthma,as well as their family members and friends.Would be especially helpful for teachers with asthmatic students.
