Sue Raine is Clinical Lead Physiotherapist at Walkergate Park for Neurorehabilitation and Neuropsychiatry, in Newcastle-upon-Tyne, and an experienced Bobath Tutor.

Not enough practical explanation

I had an original Bobath text book in PT school but have misplaced it. I now have a CVA patient and wanted to review the techniques. While this text is good on theory it does not break down the techniques as well as the original Bobath text did in my opinion. Would have liked a more sequenced approach with easy to understand flow of the techniques utilized.

Amazing Content

WOW! This is a great book. It does a great job of overviewing the Bobath work both past and present. It can be a little "wordy" and hard to grasp some concepts but once you do it is amazing. I think it is a must read for any healthcare practitioner interested in neurological rehab.
